Days pass but desire is new

Why is it that I still want you?

I can’t purge you from my mind

I don’t know what to do

Thoughts like slivers in my reason

Cause me to burn inside

Kissing, touching, holding you

Memories that never subside

But build like a rising wave

Which breaks and leaves me breathless

Then I need to see you, to touch you

I’m like a woman who’s possessed

I run to you so I can drown

In the tide of your flesh

The rise and fall of our love

I wish I could forget

Yet ever present is the yearning

And you know it is true

That I will soon be returning

To sate this want of you
